3rd annual A Night at the Opera
You will not want to miss the 3rd annual A Night at the Opera! Join us at St. John's United Methodist Church on January 17 for an exciting evening of music, magic, and a few surprises!
Third Annual A Night at the Opera will take place on Saturday, January 17th at St. John's United Methodist Church.
This year we have added a Young Artist Competition, inviting aspiring singers to submit videos to showcase their talent. High school applicants from Wren High School, Pendleton High School, Walhalla High School, and TL Hanna/Southwood Academy of the Arts submitted entries. College applicants came from Furman University, Anderson University, and Southern Wesleyan University.
After much consideration, the A Night at the Opera singers have made their selections and the winners are ... drum roll...
A Night at the Opera Young Artist - High School Division:
Gabriella Upton- Soprano, 15 year old sophomore at Wren High School. Gabriella, choral student of Kathy Smith, is also a voice student of Dr. Bob Heritage.
A Night at the Opera Young Artist - College Division:
William Jordan, Tenor Voice Performance Major at Furman University. William is a student of Dr. Grant Knox.
